About the Jumping Spider

The most intelligent spiders - they can plan complex routes to reach prey, visualizing the path before moving. They have the best vision of any spider with 8 eyes, including two large forward-facing ones. They can jump 50 times their body length. Over 6,000 species - the largest spider family. They are curious and will watch humans. Some species mimic ants to avoid predation. They use silk as a safety line when jumping. They are found from sea level to 5,000 meters on Mount Everest.
